Dear Sirs:

For several years ORH has worked with the FBF.  In fact, I was just with Johnny Daniels in Puerto Rico at the FBF Fellowship Meetings.  We are working together on a project to conduct evangelistic medical clinics all through the Caribbean.

In the past, we have collaborated on US projects.  In the most recent situation in Joplin, MO, ORH helped churches which suffered tornado damage.  ORH would like to raise $5000.00 to re-equip the parsonage of Faith Baptist Church in Joplin.  This church and parsonage were turned into splinters.  The parsonage is almost rebuilt, and the pastor is eager to get back to the area permanently.  Sadly, they do not have the money to re-equip the parsonage.  ORH has already provided $2000.00 for this purpose, but we are trying to raise $5000.00 total.

Would the FBF be willing to publish this need as you have in the past for other projects.

Please read the letter below.

Dear Bro. Milton;

Greetings in the name of the Lord. Thank you for your prayers and the encouragement you have been to us through all of the devastation of the May 22 Joplin tornado. We so appreciate your love for the Lord as demonstrated in helping carry the burdens of His children.

We are still working on getting a building permit to rebuild Faith Baptist, and are praying that that will be a reality soon. We are thankful for Pastor John Newberry and the people of Bethel Baptist for allowing us to use their fellowship hall for our services.

We have nearly completed with the rebuilding of the parsonage and are looking forward to being able to move back to Joplin to be closer to the work God has called us to do. Though the parsonage itself was insured, none of the contents were. We are facing a huge financial burden to replace every thing from furniture to blinds for the windows to utensils to cook with. We basically escaped with the clothes on our backs.

We are so thankful to God that He spared our lives and the lives of all of our people. We were given a great gift of protection from our great and wonderful God. We have learned a new that each and every day is truly a gift from God.
I would also request prayer for my health as I have been dealing with heart issues for the past 3 or 4 months. I have Atrial fibrillation where my heart is out of sink. The danger is the high risk of stroke. The plan is Cardioversion which is where they will stop it and restart it.

May the Lord bless your ministry.

In the Love of Christ;
Pastor Bruce Allen,
Faith Baptist, Joplin

Southside Baptist is also in need, and we seeking to find out how to help them.

ORH has already sent over $6000.00 into the area not including the current $2000.00.  Please let me know if you would be willing to do an email blast or mail-out.

God bless,

Jan Milton
