We are inviting men and women to our 2019 NYC Regional Fellowship of the FBFI & our NYC Fellowship Meeting on September 10.

We are thrilled to welcome Pastor Michael and Sheri Privett to New York City for this special meeting.

Bro. Mike will speak at 10 and 11 am and Sheri will teach a special session for women at 11 am.

Ladies, please make a special effort to attend with your husbands or on your own!

This meeting will be hosted at Bethel Baptist Fellowship, 2304 Voorhies Avenue, Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. We will begin at 9 am with a breakfast and conclude with a delicious luncheon prepared by Heritage Baptist Church at 12:30 pm. (See below for more information!)

Bio of Pastor Michael Privett

Dr. Michael R. Privett was reared in a Christian home outside Washington, D.C., and trusted Christ as his Savior as a young teen. While studying to be a math teacher, Michael sensed God’s call into the Gospel ministry. He completed his master of divinity degree at Bob Jones University in 1989 while serving as an assistant pastor at Hampton Park Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.

In 1990 as a GFA church planter, Michael and his wife Sheri established Faith Baptist Church in Williamsburg, Virginia. In 2000 he completed a doctor of ministry degree with a dissertation dealing with the mission of the local church. While serving as senior pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Michael started a daughter church, served on two church-planting mission boards, visited many mission fields, published a book on the Biblical mission of the local church, and trained pastors in the U.S., Brazil, the Philippines, and Asia.

In August 2011 the Privetts moved to South Carolina, and Michael began to serve as Director of Church Planting and Development at GFA. Michael currently shepherds Summit View Baptist Church in Greenville, SC while serving as associate director of Vision2020Asia. He travels four times a year to Asia to minister in churches and teach national church leaders.

The Lord has blessed the Privetts with three adult children: Joshua, Joy, and Jenna.
