Podcast: Interview 75: What Makes an Effective Christian School Administrator? (David Horner)
Today we are looking at the May/June edition of FrontLine which came out recently. The theme of this edition is “The Christian School Revival.”
Though I was educated in public schools, that was a long time ago. I am a firm believer in Christian education if it is at all possible for today’s Christian families. When we were raising our kids, we didn’t have good local Christian schools, so we opted for homeschooling.
However, if we could have sent our kids to a good Christian school, we would have. There is a great value in a well-run Christian school.
Speaking of well-run Christian schools, the article we are discussing in this podcast is “What Makes an Effective Christian School Administrator?” by David Horner. David teaches at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa, and has lots of experience in Christian education.
We had a wide ranging conversation about Christian school administration, following the outline of the article and discussing the philosophy behind good Christian school leadership. I think you will find it interesting.
Let me remind you that David’s article is available on our substack right away for paying subscribers. We have previews for everyone else. I hope you will join with us and support the ministry of the FBFI by becoming a paying subscriber.
