From the text of Romans 11.25-36, the subject was the program, promises and purpose of God in redeeming both Jews and Gentiles. We closed by reading together Zechariah 14.1-9 which ends with these words:

And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

The words of Zechariah following the words of Paul brought a moving conclusion to the prospect of God?s plan coming to fruition one day soon.
