Communicating Gospel Hope in a Hopeless World

How do we communicate the gospel in a winsome and compelling manner to a post-Christian culture?

I doubt that most of us need to be convinced that we’re living in a post-Christian culture. When the waves of postmodernism crashed on the shores of our society in the late 20th century, Biblical concepts that were generally believed or accepted began to erode away. Add to this loss the current crushing blows of the coronavirus, racial tension, anarchy, economic hardship, and mass chaos… it’s no wonder that hopelessness has become so pervasive today.

So how should Christians respond to all of this? How do we hold up the hope we have in Christ and communicate gospel truth in a winsome, compelling, understandable manner?

Enter in Discovering Hope: Exploring the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Discovering Hope is an evangelistic resource designed to carefully unpack the truths of the gospel to a person with little or no Christian background. This gospel study handbook blends Bible discovery study methods with lucid explanations so that readers can see and understand Biblical truth for themselves. Through a series of eight lessons, readers will learn the essential gospel truths about God the Creator, man the sinner, Jesus the Savior, and the need for repentance and faith.

This week, I’m excited to offer this resource to you at a discounted price. The kindle version of this study is now available for just $1.99. Seriously, folks… That’s less than a mediocre cup of coffee from your local coffee shop chain.

If you’re like me and you prefer real books, you can click here to purchase the print edition for $3.99 (or two mediocre cups of coffee).

Last but certainly not least, for those serving as gospel workers overseas, I’ve channeled my inner Bernie Sanders and made a PDF copy of the study available for FREE. Like… actually free! Just email me at and I’ll send you a copy asap.

I Peter reminds us that we have a sacred responsibility to give an answer to those who ask us about the hope that we have in Christ. Discovering Hope is a resource that will help you do just that. May the Lord grant us wisdom and opportunities to make much of Christ in the days and weeks to come!

Blessings,
